These terms explain the rules for using our website and requesting a solar-provider match. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
1. The matching service
We collect your project request and help route it to independent solar and energy businesses, including through matching networks. We charge homeowners nothing to submit a request. Providers may pay for access to requests, including through bidding; payment, service area, availability and project fit may influence selection. We do not promise the lowest price, a complete market comparison or a successful match.
We are a referral business, not your installer, lender or representative. We do not carry out or supervise installation. A listing in our directory is not a guarantee of licensing, insurance, performance or current participation.
2. Submitting a request
You must be at least 18, use your own contact details and have permission to request work for the property. Give accurate information and do not submit requests for other people without authority. We may reject abusive, inaccurate or unsupported requests.
3. Contact choices
The disclosure and affirmative choice on the quote form describe the contact you request. These terms do not expand that permission. Our current form requests phone and email contact about the solar project; it does not collect permission for marketing texts or artificial or prerecorded calls. You do not have to buy anything. You can withdraw permission by telling the caller, using an email unsubscribe option, contacting us, or using our privacy-choice form.
4. Choosing a provider
Independent providers are responsible for their proposals, work, permits, warranties and contracts. Review their qualifications, insurance, references, financing disclosures and cancellation rights before agreeing to work. Payments and installation agreements are between you and the provider. Illustrative savings or financing descriptions are not a personalized offer; request a written proposal and examine its assumptions.
5. Appropriate use and content
Use the site for genuine personal enquiries. Do not impersonate others, submit unwanted solicitations, disrupt the service, bypass access controls or extract personal data. Site branding and materials belong to us or their respective licensors. You may use the site normally but may not misrepresent affiliation or ownership.
6. Availability and responsibility
We provide the site as available and cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free information. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and responsibility for indirect losses or the acts of independent Providers. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or takes away mandatory consumer rights.
7. Questions and disputes
Write to hello@matagi.io so we can investigate a concern. Applicable mandatory consumer protections remain in force. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver. Any dispute may be brought before a court with lawful jurisdiction.
8. Updates
We may change the service or these terms. The date above identifies this version; a material change does not retrospectively expand your contact permission. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remainder continues to apply where lawful.
